Science writer based in London. Singh’s first book, 'Fermat's Enigma', was the first book about mathematics to become a No.1 bestseller in the UK. His other books include 'Big Bang', 'The Code Book' and 'Trick or Treatment?'. His latest book is 'The Simpsons and Their Mathematical Secrets', which investigates the math hidden in 'The Simpsons' and 'Futurama'. In 2008 he was sued for libel by the British Chiropractic Association. After sucessfully defending his writing, he was a leading member of the Libel Reform Campaign, which resulted in the Defamation Act 2013, which will encourage free speech in the UK.
